METANOIA follows a man (David Dastmalchian) wrestling with the seed of something divine and terrible. through this journey he finds both muse and monster, mother and mirror (Sedona Legge). Their dance traces the moment when resistance turns to grace.

Drawn through dreamlike rituals and surreal spaces, he follows the magnetic force that pulls at his fear, longing and shame until he begins to realize that what he desires may not be dangerous, but deeply true.

Metanoia exists across mediums and genres: it lives as a short film, a photography series, and an upcoming immersive gallery installation where visitors can walk through the transformation itself. every frame is Designed to blur the line between cinema, fine art, and ritual while it carries horror’s heart: an elegy for control, a story about surrendering to the creature within and finding grace in the grotesque.

METANOIA is premiering on the festival circuit with official selections at the 2025 Beyond Film Festival, the 2025 FilmQuest Film Festival, and the 2025 London Fashion Film Festival. The film has already received multiple nominations, including Best Cinematography and Best Micro-Short at FilmQuest, as well as Best Actor and Best Set Design at the London Fashion Film Festival. Audiences and programmers have praised its bold fusion of high fashion and horror.
